About Industry of Dance

Director Sophie Jones [Gigg]

 Graduate of Laine Theatre Arts; Dance/Musical Theatre College, Epsom, Surrey.


Sophie has trained in dance and gymnastics competing at regional and national levels leading her to accept a full scholarship to one of the top performing arts colleges in the UK.

She has been very lucky to have performed in many UK theatres and international cruise lines as dance/aerial Captain.

Sophie has been a dance teacher/choreographer for over 20 years. Qualified teacher in dance and Acrobatic Arts.

She has opened Industry of Dance School for students to gain confidence, technique and skills.

Industry of Dance aims to help dancers wanting to prepare for their future.

Miss Jess

We are delighted to recognise Miss Jess Wilford, a valued member of our teaching faculty and graduate of UCW Dance, Class of 2025.


Jessica brings a wealth of experience to Industry of Dance. She has trained extensively in both high-level gymnastics and multiple styles of dance, performing in numerous productions. Among her career highlights are appearances on the main stage at MOVE IT 2023 and 2024, the world’s largest dance convention.


Her talents extend beyond performance; Jessica has also choreographed acclaimed productions including Little Shop of Horrors and Oliver.


Now, as a dedicated dance teacher and gymnastics coach, Jess is committed to inspiring and developing the next generation of performers. Her professionalism, creativity, and passion for the arts shine through in every class she leads.


At Industry of Dance, we are proud to have Miss Jess on our team as we continue our mission to nurture and guide young performers toward a bright future. ✨
